Thanks for all your replies. I gained a lot of information. At this point I only have a month to try the dostinex and all the literature claim it is not long enough for tumor shrinkage. I wish my endo doc swithched me two years ago when the tumor was 3 mm. from my optic chiasm. (My drug plan costs me $20 no matter the cost of the med, so that was not his reasoning.) Tomorrow I am seeing my third neurosurgeon to see whom I feel most comfortabe with. (I feel nervous and highly anxious with any surgeon. I didn't sleep well for a few nights after seeing my other two. The more info I get, the more nervous I get.) Right now I am scheduled for surgery on 3/10. If I go with surgeon number 2. I wish the date was earlier so I could get it over sooner but because of vacations that was the earliest date. Thanks again. This site is the the first and last thing I go to every day. I have learned more here than anywhere. Thank you!! |
