Any University library can help you locate articles. Libraries at universities that are affiliated with medical schools or medical centers may have some journals in their collections, so the only cost to you would be to photocopy the article. Research librarians will help you pull the journal issue, etc. They can also order via inter-library loan (also for a charge) Often, these articles can be delivered via email. In a major medical center, the clinical departments often maintain smaller libraries tailored to their specialties. EG, endocrinology library may maintain a collection of major endocrine journals. These libraries are not usually listed on any website -- more often a bookshelf in a conference room within the department. If you're having difficulting finding a particular article, a call to the dept secretary or administrator may help -- if they have the journal issue on the shelf, they may be willing to make a copy for you. I'm not new to prolactin/pit issues -- but came across this board only last week. How nice to find you all here !!! |
