Hi Jessica,

I was in the University of Iowa Hospital, in Iowa City. I shouldn't really complain, as the doctor was able to restore my eyesight!! For that I am extremely grateful.

I have been dealing with all of these other symptoms now for a little over two years! I hardly ever leave my house anymore, I have no desire, and I'm usually just too tired. Actually, I sometimes wonder, why I even bothered with the surgery if I'm not able to enjoy life. Of course, then I think of my two kids and that thought leaves quickly!

I didn't realize you could get rid of Cushing's. I assumed that once you had it... you had it. I guess I thought that you could control it with medicine, but not be cured of it. I'm still a "rookie" at all of these pituitary disorders, etc. but I'm sure I'll learn.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that you are on your own, so to speak" with your family not believing in your symptoms. It sure is a good thing to have groups like this where you can talk to other people with like experiences!

Julie
