Hello everyone, I finally saw my neurosurgeon last week and he said that it might be possible to have the Gamma Knife radiation done instead of going for a second surgery. He called me today and said that he had talked with the Radiologist and I will need to meet with him and go from there after discussing the whole Gamma Knife thing. I am not afraid to let you all know that it really scares me big time to have another surgery, but now I am not sure what would be worse. The Gamma Knife or a second surgery? I do have one question to ask if anyone may know the answer. Is the Gamma Knife radiation therapy a one time deal or several times? Thanks to all in advance for any and all replies :) Judy |
