Jessica, my new doctor said I was adrenial deficient and has put me on 5mg. of Pedisone. I ask her why predisone and she said it is longer acting. I have had the 24 hour urine test, a serum test, and last a fasting morning cortisol test. My new endo did the morning test. I also have had the GH stim. test. The first one show I was not deficient but the second one months later showed I was deficient. My doctor has reduced the GH because it was to high. I take thyroid med. also. I am some better but only recently. My children are grown so I feel sorry for you. I hope the children are able to help you out. I have headached but I take Plavix and asprin for a heartstint and that has helped the headaches to. My endo said if you have a low adrenal glands your stomache will be sick and mine has been really bad but since the predisone it is better. Take care, Lawana
