Judy,

I do not know about your story other than this posting, but I do know that Dr. Shahinian in Los Angeles has removed many tumors that other surgeons would not tackle. It is my understanding that radiation also changes the texture of the tumor and can complicate a later surgical attempt. I sent my xrays to Shahinian and got a second opinion. My local doctors gave my a 50/50 chance of removal. Shahinian gave me a 98 percent chance. I flew to his clinic because I liked everthing about his operation, the quality of his nurses, the logic of the conversations we had, the personal attention I recieved, and the tremendous amount of study Shahinian has dedicated to pituitary tumor removal. Dr. Shahinian did remove all of my tumor on his first attempt, and I had no bruising, no stitches, no swelling, no spinal tap and left the hospital for the movies 24 hours after my surgery. The guy is amazing. You can call me is you want. 541-757-9663. Jean in Oregon
