PT yes, I have had alot of weakness with the disease- it became steadily and progressively worse over the coarse of 14 years. I also have Chrohn's disease, and for 14 years the Docs. kept tellinjg me it was due to that. I knew it wasn't because I've had Crohn's disease all my life and even at my worst (Almost died from lesions and peritinitis- had to perform emergerncy surgery- I was a junior in highschool and only wieghed 83 lbs & was very thin.) I never felt this kind of weakness. Stress and anxiety would justy zap me & things like PT Researcher experiences were the norm. Acromegaly/ High Growth hormone does cause weakness and temperature intollorances both hot and cold. I just had the surgery, but am still quite weak (Although I am on prednisone right now which 'over-rides' the weakness- it's still there, but 'just under the surface, waiting to raise it's ugly head' so to speak, as soon as I get off the prednisone I think I'm gonna be right back where I was weakness wise- But the Doc tells me that it might take 6 weeks or so before the Growth hormone goes down- so maybe when that happens, this weakness will subside a bit. If I think of it, I'll post back here over the course of 6 weeks & relate my experiences on this weakness as I come off the prednisone, & as my Growth Hormone levels drop to normal if they are going to.
