Dr. Ludlam needs to probably visit with you. I think you will feel better talking with him. It is normal for you to feel like you need to go back to bed and lay down. You may feel a little sick to your stomach. You should have instructions if you do throw up.

I know with me, I would take my hydro, lay in bed for an hr before it 'kicked in', get up for a short while, go back to bed, and about 1 or 2 hrs before the next dose, I'd get the worst headache and body aches, then I'd take the hydro, lay in bed for an hr before it 'kicked in' and here we go again.

Each day though, I'd try to do something - at first, it was get dressed. Then the next day... fix hair. The first two weeks will be the hardest.

What you are going through is called Endocrine Withdrawal Syndrome, and it is basically the withdrawal from having too much cortisol in your system. Your body is used to having alot of cortisol in your body, and you are going through 'drug' withdrawals, in a way. This will take time.

I read that this Endocrine Withdrawal is kind of like withdrawing from heroin.
I think I missed out on the good times... lol.

Recovering from Cushings is a slow and steady process.

So... I hope you have paged him?!!!!!????
