If I remember correctly we were told that the radiation is so intense that it can only be done once. He can go for traditional radiation if needed. Your question reminded me of why we opted for cyberknife in addition to the other reasons I mentioned. We had been told by the surgeon that he could not get the entire tumor and that he would have to go for radiation after. We figured that we would just do the radiation and skip the surgery. |
