Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Talk with your endo and tell your endo what your plans are and ask your doctor what you might expect.
 
Control of your prolactinoma won't shrink fibroids - that is a gyn issue. You might see about getting a second opinoin though about your gyn surgery. You need to know if your ovaries will be kept or if not, what kind of replacement hormones will be prescribed. You will want to talk about the HRT replacement with your endo. Your endo will most likely want to manage all of your replacement hormones (too many cooks).
 
(p.s.) I think Endocrine physicians are used to dicussing the tiniest hairline hormonal test issues.... and they can get a little stuck on lab results. If need be... try to get your doctor refocused on the bigger picture.
