I found out a couple of years ago that I had a high prolactin level and I never did anything about it until now. When the doctor first told me about it he never bothered to refer me to an endo doctor. I really never did too much research on it as well but things have been getting so bad. I have gained about 15 pounds and Im not sure whether to blame it on the prolactin or my eating habits. For the past two months I have changed my diet around completly. I have been working out and keeping my days at 1,300 calories. I finally went to see an endo doctor yesterday and she did not mention that my weight gain is due to my prolactin level. She was also puzzled about the fact that my cycle was still regular. That bothered me as well. Has that happened to anyone before. |
