A little history. I have acromegaly and had the tumor removed last December. Evidently the tumor was sitting on the spot on the pituitary that produces the hormone that concentrates urine so I ended up with diabetes insipidus. The DI has been controlled with medication. My IGF-1 has come down but is still too high so today I took the test dosage of Sandostatin (NOT LAR).  Ever since the last dose I have been running to the bathroom to urinate every 30 min. to an hour at times every 15 min.  Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure what's going on. Could this be fluid loss from the decreased IGF? problems with the DI set off by the Sando statin. It's after 11 pm here - may have to call the advice nurse. I'm just curious to know if anyone else has experienced this.
