Hi: Just a little info I just received from my endo last week. My macroadenomo tumor is totally gone after taking bromo, so I went off of it in December. I felt pretty good but felt much better after taking B50 complex in the mornings. Because I am now feeling realitively "normal" (still don't have periods at all) I never went back on. I told my endo last week and she said "oh better get back on the bromo". A while back another endo told me that as a trial, I could go off and just be monitored and now this endo was pretty anxioux that I should return to the bromo. When I questioned her, she said that another Endo had done some studies and almost all tumors will return when off bromo. I said I would be willing to take a prolactin test now to find my present level (it was 9 before), and if it is at a normal level, just be monitored every month (by prolactin tests) to see if I turn out to be one of the lucky few who does not have a tumor reoccurance. I have not found out my level yet, but will call tomorrow to see if she has it. |
