Lindab- I had a very similiar experience to the poster- Was out wlaking around the city of Boston the very next day. My surgery was endoscopic, and was absolutely great experience for me recovery wise. Went to dinner at a resturaunbt the following day- had a great time actually in Boston.

There are some things to be aware of-  You can get complications- however, these are very small percentage- so small that they are almost non existant actually- but still. Also, you will likely be dizzy after & have trouble bending- you'll need to sit up slow, but once you're up everything is basically fine. I was a little naseus after for about 2 days- they upped my prednisone & that took it away. I did get a sinus infection after- but they put me on antibiotics right away. Last wekk (about 6 weeks after my surgery) I had a sinus 'plug' come out- it was huge- I didn't know what in the world was happening & it made me nervous as it choked me it was so large. I guess these can happen after this type of surgery- You may not get it- I did. If it does happen, it'll be brownish in coulor and smell. Just to make you away incase it does happen. Don't be alarmed.

All in all, the surgery was really no big deal. As Minnie said- you will need to take it easy after- If they put you on prednisone- which they are likely tyo- that will give you 'fake energy' & it will be easy to overdo it without realizing you are.

Good luck with your surgery & may God bless.
