Hello

I'm Gitte from Denmark.
I have an elevated prolactin-level (ideopathic) during 3 years (since my last pregnancy), and I have also been experimenting with different med's to normalize my prolactinlevel. I have no prolactinoma.
I have been on Dostinex, but didn't like the side-effects (grogginess, forgetfullness, fatigue, nausea etc.)
I have tried to take it vaginally for 3 months (that didn't work out - my prolactinlevel raised to 120 ng/ml).
I can feel in my body when my Prolactin-level is raising - I get nausea, fatigue, sort of "feeling pregnant" or like I'm having the flu. The more I sleep, the worse I get.
I have been searching to find alternatives to Dostinex, and now I'm taking the herb "Vitex Agnus Castus" - which should be able to normalize Prolactin-levels (and also help managing PMS-periods - which I also suffer from).
My Doctor is following me - and I will have a blood test in a couple of months (Vitex is "slowly working"). I hope it can replace Dostinex
Have any of you experiences with this herb - I would like to hear from you
Gitte - Dk
