New Message on Pituitary Chat bio-identical hormone replacement therapy for women Reply   Recommend Message 9 in Discussion From: Hope Hello Alclark:   Just a quick note....I am 39 and had a macroadenoma.  I just started on Estrace and Prometrium.  They are bioidentical hormones.  I have only been on the estrace for 5 days and have had no problems.  I have also been using prometrium for some time and find that it is also great (no cramping etc.).    About 1 yr. ago, a GP put me on Premarin and I had a killer whamo headache almost immediately.  Like a bullet went through my brain.  I tossed them...just didn't work for me.   I might also look into teststerone, but I will have to wait to add that one later.   I have read the books that were mentioned...and I think they are GREAT!!  Finally, someone who took the time to help us out and not just throw a patch on the situation.    View other groups in this category.
