When I have a migraine I have shooting pain in my left eye and on the left side of my head. I do not have any auras. The pain from my tumor felt like my brain was too large for my skull. It was all over. Both are intense. When my migraines were over I would be painfree. I kept telling my neurologist my head with the tumor pain was a constant 2 (using the scale of pain from 1-10 with 10 being the worst) and it would get as bad as an 8. The tumor grew and pressed on the optic chiasm so i had surgery in March and my headaches are now down to a 0.Before the surgery the neurologist gave me 10 mg of zomig orally and the 10 mg. that dissolves and I would take both when my tumor headache become an 8. It helped and I thought I was going crazy until I found out that the tumor is vascular and migraine medicine would help relief the pain somewhat from the tumor. I hope this helps you a little bit.
