Kirei: I hear you about the "response time". It is definitely the "appetite" part that I have the problem with. So you are saying that the bromocriptine was the difference in your increased sex drive, and not the estrogen/progesterone in the pill? I have been off bromo for about 6 months (but having my prolactin monitored monthly - it's 22) and am now trying the estrace/prometrium thing due to lack of any period. I was hoping that the hormones might give my libido a boost as well. I totally understand that once you are mother, such as I am, your time is not your own. You are always on the back burner and your priorities shift to the kids. I think you had some very profound advice regarding the stress thing. I suppose I don't have any "real stress" but the fact that I am trying to figure out my health as well as my weight issues, could definitely be the culprit in the libido department (low self esteem). I think I will take you advice and have a romantic vacation without the kids! Sometimes I just need a reality check. Thanks ![]() |
