I finally did get a diagnosis by Dr. Blevins at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. I live in the midwest near St. Louis. No one could help me in St. Louis, and I learned about Dr. Blevins on the internet. Out of all of the pit specialist in the midwest, he was the closest to my home. I had been through 10 months of testing by the time I reached Dr. Blevins. I collected up all of my meds, and took them to my first appointment. He was able to diagnose me based upon all the records I took when the doctors in St. Louis couldn't. It's very frustrating, but hang in there. Finding a good doctor is sometimes like buying a used car. Some of them can be lemons! Don't give up! |
