I feel embarrased to go outside or to meet with friends or relatives. I tried many times to loose weight but I can't loose. I am more than 200lb. please tell me and help me to loose weight. thank you. suman | Are you on dostinex treatment for your prolatinoma? Many lose weight once they start treatment. Also, your doctor should test you for insulin resistence. If you have insulin resistence, your doctor may put you on a medication that will improve this, and with some changes in diet, and some moderate exercise, it may help you lose weight. Your doctor also needs to keep an eye on your thyroid levels too. Losing weight with a pituitary tumor is hard. I, myself, am recovering from Cushings and still am at 210. Self image is important, and you need to do things to help your mind - not just your body. Do things that help you feel good about you as a person and give value and self worth to you. If you can, start a new hobby or pick up one you forgot all about. It is not all about weight... it is though, all about YOU. Minnie |
