Why are you concerned? Have you noticed some symptomology or changes that are worrying you? If you have, you need to be talking about those concerns with your doctor. Perhaps he/she will review your testing with you and explain to you what each drug is used for and the effects of one on the other. I don't know of any effects of the drugs when mixed... but I assume you are on birth control to keep from getting pregnant or you are on the pills to help lower some of your androgens and help minimize some of the symptoms. I was reading in a magazine yesterday (Real Simple May 2005) about the pill, and there are alot of new kinds of birth control out there. As far as pills go, it is the widest form of contraceptive used in this country. There are many different kinds of formulations out there, and if your current one is not working for you (moody, depressed, irritable), talk with your doctor about changing your formulation. Hope this helps. Minnie |
