Hi Geo,

I understand your anger and frustration with doctors and the medical field. I share in that frustration. My care has been compromised many times because I told others of my experiences with the medical field. My diagnosis was delayed for three years, and now I have multiple diseases that were caused by the pit tumor and hormonal imbalance. I am very angry about the way I have been treated over the years. If I had not fought for a diagnosis every step of the way, I would have never been able to seek treatment.

It is very important to investigate the physicians you consult. I cannot stress that strongly enough. I know you want to help others avoid what you have gone through and I definitely understand where you are coming from. I try to help others in a positive way, I don't want anyones' care to be compromised because of someone's ego.

I used to be much more involved with the boards, but now I have to be much more careful with every word I write. I understand your anger and frustration, drs egoes should not be more important than a patient's care and health. You should never go through what you are going through.

My best advice to every patient is to research and learn as much as they can about their illness and to educate themselves and talk with others who are going through the same things that they are going through. That is why we have the boards-we are all in this together!

Take care. You're in my prayers.

Meri
