Hi DJS, In addition to the other hormone tests your MDs are running, you may want to ask them to check your testosterone levels when you go next week. Yes, testosterone! Your levels may be out of range (women need this hormone, too). ![]() Can cause a whole host of symptoms, including some that you mentioned. Just a thought.... I am glad that you are being proactive about this and visiting your MD w/ your concerns. On a personal level, I can relate to the amenorrhea - scanty periods, if any, for 4 years (I'm female and 35). My Boston endo says whatever happened to my pit. affected the part that is responsible for the sex hormones. I too was given the BCP to "jump start" periods to no avail. Now I am on complete hormone replacement with VERY GOOD RESULTS. Let me know if you'd like to discuss this further off-line and I'll give you my e-mail. |
