I attended Stanford's acromegaly patient education day. There were presentations about diagnosing acromegaly, surgical/medical/radiotherapy/radiosurgical approaches to treatment followed by presentations and discussions geared toward the patients. All in all it was a worthwhile experience. This is to be a yearly program and if you are available a good way to keep up with the latest information. I think a similar program is also available at Mass General in Boston.
