Not a Prolactinoma?

Reply   Reply to Sender   Recommend Message 1 in Discussion From: Jenny Hi, it's been a while since I've been on here but I have a question.  I had an MRI in December and didn't make it back to the doc until August because of a VERY long wait to get in to see a better doctor.  When I went in and he looked at my MRI, he said that based on the MRI alone, the tumor doesn't look like a prolactinoma, which is what i was diagnosed with over a year and a half ago.  He also told me that the tumor had hemorrhaged.  I am starting to feel worse.  I have tried stopping the dostinex and it doesn't help. My aunt had a fluid filled adenoma, and I am wondering if that might be what mine is since it is not characteristic of a prolactinoma.  Has anyone ever heard of this?  I'm not sure what the situation is, I am assuming I don't need to worry since the doctor doesn't seem to think it is too much of a problem.  Any insight would be very helpful.  Thanks!
