What is going on? Is this a symptom of something I need to be aware of?

Yesterday and especially today, I have been very “on edge”, jittery, nervous, feel as though my heart’s beating a mile a minute (it’s not really though) and I feel overall as though I’m in the throes of a panic attack or something. It’s a constant feeling. I also feel as if I’m shaking, though that’s not actually visible. Yesterday my chest hurt too, today my stomach feels somewhat sick, but not an illness kind of sick, more of a “scared” kind of sick.

I don’t know if this even makes any sense, but I can say for sure that I do not feel “right.”

I am fairly certain that it’s something physical, but there is also a chance it could be psychological because I’m going through a lot of stress right now with financial problems and sick kids, including having to take one to the emergency room for a breathing treatment.

I have also been sick for nearly 2 weeks now with bronchitis. I’m mostly better now though I have a lingering cough. Could this unsettling (and rather severe) feeling be related to something like maybe low cortisol due to being ill?

Last I was checked (2 months ago, I think. But I’m not thinking clearly right now), my cortisol levels were still within the normal range, though on the low end of normal.
