Gallstones are actually pretty common with acromegaly, and if you are on dostinex and are losing weight rapidly, that too can contribute to gallstones. Furthremore post op cushings patients who are losing weight rapidly can also be at risk. Even if you are on treatment for acromegaly, you are at risk for gallstones, as sandostation LAR has a 18% risk (long term).
