Well I was at the endo today and was informed that my pituitary seems to be functioning. But he is sending me to a neuro and also a heart specialist. I have a low heart rate which he somehow feels is related to this. And the bone spurs and the arthritis and migraines might somehow be helped by the neurologist. So we start over again. But he has put me back on a light dose of estrogen . I did read up a bit more about this condition and it is somewhat rare. However, it can be brought on by 3 different ways.. women that are large and have hypertension. A prior head injury/ radiation treatment/ or previous brain surgery of some sort or genetically via family...the last is extremely rare... And it does strike 80% women. I hope this info helps all.. On the 19th I'm going in for my knee surgery. But I'll be back and checking in.. Good luck and let me know if anyone else finds anything else out. As will I... thanks for your support!! Christy
