Leslye, You should always talk to your Dr. before stopping the Dostinex. My neuro said that it wouldn't be a problem for me to stop taking it for short periods of time. I decided to get off it during my wedding and honeymoon. Although for me, the side effects I felt were just as bad when I started taking it again, as when I first started taking it. I've never experienced any leg pain with regard to stopping or starting the medication. So, I can't answer that question. But if you haven't fallen, or there isn't an obvious reason for your pain, it might be a good idea to ask a dr. It may be completely unrelated, but still something that requires attention.
