I dont know much about the dosinex. But i dont believe that birth control is causing the tumors. My first one was found when I was 15 Years old and the second when I was 17- at which point they put me on birth control. I too feel the docs are oblivious. But I believe that you can be your own ally on this one. You obviously have the internet and you can find out anything you want to know. I used it to teach my husband what was wrong with me and why I am so moody. I didnt even knoe there were meds for this until here recently- because of the oblivious docs. And now I have made a list of which docs I need to see and what I expect. I also learned list all your symptoms, even if you dont think they are inter related, they very well could be. My second tumor gave me much different side effects than the first and I couldnt figure out what was going on, but after a lot of pushing my primary care doc- she told me I was a hypocondriac and nothing was wrong with me. I found out about the second tumor. I hope this helps. If anytthing the birth control has helped control my periods. Thanks
