I think that Stanford's pituitary clinic is relatively new but they seem to be pulling in alot of top people from all over. Looks like they are trying to become a top notch center. Bring reading material with you. They always seem to be out of reading material in the waiting room. Last time they stuffed me in a room then told me the wait would be about 15 min. I picked up the one and only magazine which turned out to be from 1976!!!!!! There is great art on the walls. Many times a harpist or other muscian and if you are really lucky there may be a massuse. I usually use the valet parking. In many ways it reminds me of shopping at Nordstrom's. In addition there is a top notch librarian who will help yu with information searches.She has access to many medical journals that you have to subscribe to to get the articles.
