Jozi,

I really don't remember what my prolactin level was.  I think it was in the 1200 range.  When I found out about my tumor and I was told about the prolactin levels, but I really didn't pay attention.  My doctor informed me that my tumor was 3cm in size and was bleeding, pushing the tumor up into my brain.  It could have caused me to have a stroke.  SCARRY!!!  My tumor HAD to come out ASAP.  That's all I cared about at that moment.  I couldn't function.  I was having crippling migraine headaches every single day and my vision was being affected.  All I was thinking about was, "How quickly can we do surgery to get this thing out, so I don't have a stroke?"  I didn't have the option to go the medicine route.  My surgeon was able to do my surgery transphenoidal.  The surgery went great!  I didn't have any problems at all.  Are you having any major symtoms and if so, what symptoms are you having?  How soon do they want to do wurgery?  Good luck and keep me posted!
