My son had taken Adderall for a short period of time for his ADHD (the XR is the time released version). Let me tell you... it was the worst medicine I ever put him on. The side effects were horrible... he had seriously bad thoughts... the "I hate God, I love Satan" type... and I would never recommend this medicine to anyone.
We tried a few other medicines then we gave up and put him on herbs and vitamins to go along with his restricted diet.
