Just read about your surgery success Minnie- congrats!
I just wanted to say that the stinking dry oxygen was just about the worst part of the whole thing for me ( I had mine at UCSF - kunwar). I think I asked for more ice and popsicles than anyone ever had before. hehe.
The first thing I felt when I woke up was relief. The next thing was elation-- I can see! I can wiggle my toes! :) Then I was amazingly nautious, and somehow was sweating through all the blankets they had... (acromegaly-- fluid coming out of skin)...
You mentioned that your skin was much better after getting rid of all that cortisol. How was it before? Did you have acne? I have bad skin (still) and just am wondering if this is a sign something else is up.
