Test results are in from the MRI and blood tests!  Turns out the pituitary tumor is gone!  The doctor thinks it's possible the tumor didn't get enough blood supply and essentially self destructed.  Prolactin levels are back to normal although the cosyntropin test indicates my adreanal glands are not producing enough hydrocortisone naturally - they believe this is why I've been feeling so tired since I quit taking the dostinex.  I've been prescribed a low dose of prednisone (5 mg), so more to follow as I learn more about my new issue!  At the moment, it seems reasonable that I had problems with dostinex because the tumor wasn't there to utilize the medication.
