Hi All, I had a non-secreting pit tumor removed exactly one year ago last month. The doc seems to think they got it all but I continue to go back for testing to be sure. I had a high prolactin and took dostinex for several months. The prolactin seems to be staying down and I do get regular periods now. My main health issues now seem to be caused from the monthly cycles. I am 36 and used to have relatively easy cycles each month until the tumor stopped them. Now I have a shorter period but I suffer more from the time before I get it. About two weeks before I start retaining a lot of water and joints start to hurt. One week before I have it I start having headaches and disiness. More or less exactly what I was having with the tumor. I really only get one good week a month. Just curious if any other woman out there have experienced this issue. I am following up with the endo but so far they don't seem to think there is a problem. |
