Following diagnosis of acromegaly 5 years ago, I have had surgery, radiotherapy and been on Sandostatin LAR.. Unfortunately, due to residual tumor, I still have very active disease and am about to begin treatment with Pegvisomant. I am curious to know about how other patients who have already been on the drug have felt since taking it. Does it get rid of the awful facial symptoms and the dreadful tiredness and lethargy?
