This methodology is often use to measure how well treatment is working and what kind of bone is remodeling. Cancer treatments often have dramatic effects on bone and bone loss. Once a doctor starts treatment to encourage bone regrowth, the doctors may want to see how successful therapy is. This kind of therapy shows the bone in 3d and can provide alot of information on how well therapy is being received by taking a very close look at what kind of bone is regrowing.
