I suffered from horrible migraines before I had the tumor removed, infact, that is how I found out I had the tumor, I had a migraine that lasted 21 days. I ended up in the emergency room, had an MRI, discovered the tumor, since having the surgery, and being on dostinex now for about 7 or 8 years, (the tumor grew back but is very tiny) I have only had three migranes. Although, my doctor swears there is no corralation between pituitary tumors and migraines. Whatever! If you have ever experienced a migraine, they are extremely painful, nothing like a regular old headache. They can make you nauseous, and sensitive to light and sound, and they can last a day, or days, or weeks. I wouldn't dwell on what the doctor said. To think is to create! So think positively. |
