Hi Cat, My pit. isn't dead - but the stalk that connects my pit. to the rest of my brain has been severed so I guess it's essentially not 100% living...? There are a mulitude of Rx's I take: Hydrocortizone (Steroid) tablet = I take 20mg at 9:30 & 10mg at 4:30pm Levothyroxine = this changes often. now I take 88mg in the am Despospresson (DDAVP << this used to be nose spray - but now I take it in tablet form) = twice a day Cabergoline = once a week Gemfibrozil = once a day I also take OTC multi-vitamin. As soon as the doctor's found out what was wrong with me they started me on the steroids for a week or so and then got me on levothyroxione. Later they added the desmospresson as I was CONSTANTLY going to the ladies room (and I mean alomst every 1/2 hour) The other two have been added afterwards with some other compaints I had... but the main pills are the first three I listed.
