Meri,
Hi, this is one of the first days I have felt I could type for a little bit due to the RSD.  They currently have me on the highset dose of neurontin and it still isn't cutting it.  How are you doing?  How is your weight?  How is your food intake?  I hope you are finding more you can eat and keep down.  Positive news for me, 2 weeks ago I saw the PT and the next day the DO both for cranial therapy.  It was a turning point.  All of a sudden some foods had started sounding good which my body totally had been rejecting for over 10 months solid without any reprieve.  I even tried a hamburger patty (3% fat or less) I was able to get it down (without gagging or forcing it) and keep it down (it was painful afterwards and the next 2 days I couldn't force hardly anything down).  I have had BM's almost daily with is a big difference for me.  The next week I tried plain jumbo shrimp (4-5 to a serving) for 4 days in a row and did great with them.  I also have been able to eat some fat free chips with no problem.  Also all of a sudden I want salt (haven't been able to handle it for about 1 1/2 years) I now can handle a light sprinkling on my potatoes.  Last week I gained 4 lbs which is huge for me and I had even cut down on calories.  So something is happening and big.  I am planning on getting shrimp again on Sat and eating it for 4 days in the same quantity.  I hope to try the hamburger again soom.

Let me know how you are doing.  Even without a brain injury they say there is a big connection between the stomach and brain so you may want to talk to your dr about giving it a shot.  I notice on the GP site others who go to John Hopkins have been referred for cranial therapy.

God Bless,
Lorita
