I haven't found that Dostinex brand is not available anymore. Cabergoline is now available in a generic, and I believe pushing the generic is what the insurance carriers want. Unless the doctor says that the prescription must be prescribed as written, the default is the generic. You can talk with your doctor about this if it concerns you. You need to also check your insurance policy to see what the reimbursements level are for brand prescriptions.
