Insomnia

I don't take prednisone for my pituitary condition but I end up having to take it several times a year for my asthma.  When I am on prednisone, I am barely able to sleep even 2-3 hours per night.  I recently was talking to another asthma patient about the woes of prednisone and she told me she doesn't take prednisone unless her doctor also prescribes a sleep aid such as Ambien or another one.  You may want to discuss the insomnia with your doctor and see if they can give you something to help.  Hope you're having sweet dreams soon!
