Hi Hayley, My endo has recommended I try Quinagolide too, as the side effects
of Bromo and dostinex are awful for me. I have said no so far (too scared of
such a new drug) but my endo told me it has been around since around 2000, is a
different class of drug than bromo and dostinex (not from the ergot family) and
has had great results for other patients of his who suffer bad effects from
bromo and dostinex. I look forward to reading your other replies as you've
asked the same question I was planning on asking in this forum too. I'm in
Australia, have a 15mm macroadenoma which is close to my optic chasm and am
hoping to find something that works for me soon! Good luck with everything,
hope all goes well for you and your levels start to go down soon.. Michelle.
