House... Hi Minnie!
This is the information we discussed. For those interested please join
together and send your letters of request for the above to Mrs. Laura Bush, C/O
The Pituitary Network Association, P. O. Box 1958, Thousand Oaks, CA 91358.
When the network association receives enough they will begin forwarding them to
the white house. The Pituitary network association is asking for patients to
please write letters to discuss why pituitary disease is so debilitating and
difficult to live with. They are requesting we discuss how difficult it is to
find doctors who understand/know about it, let alone treat us. There is also a
request for any of our doctors to write letters as well to help bring about
awareness of these topics. It is the belief that we need national exposure in
order to get society, the medical community, major media, and our government
leaders to know how costly this is to families and society and insurance
companies and the health care system. We need to spotlight these issues and
get the national consensus that these issues be recognized/studied and treated.
I look forward to our group becoming actively involved in requesting this
conference.

other!
