Lil, I had an ultrasound done on my thryroid because it was enlarged. I
haven't received the results of the ultrasound as of yet. I am assuming it
wasn't anything to bad or the dr. would have called me in. I dont' see him til
May. I too have been putting on weight. I have gained ten pounds in the last
two months. I think it is from the prednisone. I just started taking Growth
Hormone injections yesterday. Hopefully I will start feeling better soon. Its
to bad you don't have an endo close by. But stay in touch with the one you have
and the internet is a good source of info. I have gotten lots of info from
this site. It has helped alot. Let me know if I can help in any way. Keep your
chin up. Melissa
