Dear pippa63:

You can search the web and find anything you want to support what ever you
want-:) I actually was on a well known medical school site that also said that
there are no issues with low GH in adults. I wrote them to let them how
completely irresponsible it is for them with such a highly regarded reputation
to post something that absurd that goes against the majority of medical
research!!!! You can believe that low GH does not affect people if you chose
but
I know in my heart that I have low GH and I have symptoms that are attributed
to
that-:) There are numerous reports of symptoms that you can look up just put in
something like "symptoms of low growth hormone in adults" or growth hormone
deficiency in adults."

I never had that test that you are speaking of. My endo did not recommend
it in my case and I just had the IGF-1 blood levels. My endo fought my
insurance
company on that requirement and they were fine with that.

I can guarantee you, that if you continue your search on low GH in adults
you will find a lot more information stating that it does cause issues rather
then the old school thought that you do not need GH as an adult because you are
done growing. When I first was tested in my early 30's my GH levels was that of
an 88 year old women!!! I do not know about you but I know I do not like
feeling
like an 88 year old women-:) -:) -:)

Keep your chin up, don't worry about the miss information out there we all
run into it. You will get your answers!!!!

HUGS,
Tina
