I have a micro adenoma & been on dostinex for about 6m. I cannot tolerate the drug mainly because it causes depression, headaches, & ohter annoyances in me. I want to try vitex but found very little resaerch on vitex/chasteberry & prolactin reduction. Has anyone heard or tried vitex for high prolactin? My other porblem with dostinex is that it is shrinking my boob size (I was a C, now I m almost A) and simultaneously increased weight gain on my hips and thighs. My diet and exercise patterns are same. Is it normal or common for this drug to behave like this? 2. Does dostinex increase or decrease estrogen? does dostinex increase or decrease progesterone? Iam trying to understand what is going on in my body. My endo. does not always listen to my problems although this is the best doctor I have come across.
