----------------------------------------------------------- From: Indygirl_panhypopit Message 24 in Discussion It's possible you might be deficient in an adrenal hormone called Aldostrone. This hormone works to regulate salt/water balance, blood pressure and a few other things. I know when I feel dizzy my blood pressure is always low and I need to take a mineral cortisol called Florinef. That's the brand name of the medicine. I also take cortef but that is a glucco-cortisol and the two kinds of cortisols are very different. If you get a blood test for aldostrone also be sure they include renin...it's helpful to see them in conjunction with one another. :) Gina ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
