I was wondering for those who have some knowledge of this if you could give me info, I'm going to make an appointment to see my OB/Gyn about it. I'd like to be prepared. Since the birth of my daughter in June 06, I breastfed for about 4 1/2 months (I stopped October-ish). I got my 1st period about 1 month later and ever since they have been all over the place. I know for sure that I have not ovulated at least in 2 cycles, and I can't be sure that I have ovulated in other cycles. My breasts continually feel like I am lactating, and I can even hand express small amounts of colostrum/milk, which I do not do often. I also, (probably not related, but I thought I'd mention it) have a small lump on the back of my head that hurts when I press on it. I've already been to the doctor about that (just recently) and she wants me to take Motrin and use ice to see if it goes away. She was not concerned. However, I did not mention the other problems to her. I want to try for another baby but I can't get a handle on my cycles, they are so eraric. They are ranging from 33 days to 42 days. The 42 day cycles I know I am not ovulating. My periods before I got pregnant with my second child were 31 days all the time.
